Dr. POSA Venkata Ramana is a dedicated researcher and academic professional specializing in materials science, nanotechnology, and photovoltaic (PV) systems. He currently serves as a Research Engineer at Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC), France, where he is actively involved in the ANR DIA-SOLAIRE project focused on developing intelligent diagnostic and prognostic tools for photovoltaic plant operations.
His current research emphasizes IoT-based monitoring systems, data analytics, and machine learning applications to improve the reliability and efficiency of solar energy systems. He has contributed to the development of predictive maintenance models, enabling early fault detection and estimation of component lifespan in PV systems.
Dr. Venkata Ramana holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Nanotechnology, with research centered on the synthesis and application of graphene-based nanocomposites for environmental and energy applications. His postdoctoral research experience spans internationally recognized institutions in France and China, where he worked on advanced topics such as PV module reliability testing, supercapacitors, electro-catalysis, and nanomaterials engineering.
With over 13 peer-reviewed publications and a strong citation record, his work has significantly contributed to areas like photovoltaic systems, photocatalysis, renewable energy systems, and nanomaterial-based solutions for environmental challenges. His research integrates experimental techniques with advanced analytical tools, including spectroscopy, microscopy, and PV performance testing.
In addition to research, Dr. Venkata Ramana has demonstrated strong teaching and leadership skills. He founded and managed a coaching institute in India, mentoring students for competitive examinations, and also developed digital educational content through online platforms.
